Diabetes Program: The Diabetes Program supports many activities promoting awareness of diabetes related health risks and methods of preventing the disease and controlling its effects.

Programs
Treatment: A team of CHC staff focus on improving the quality of care provided to diabetes patients.
Detection: Diabetes screening is available at the clinic and is performed at many CHC sponsored events.
Prevention Activities: These include weight management; individual medical nutrition therapy: nutrition and exercise activities for Coquille Tribal members and spouses and non–Coquille Native Americans.
Diabetes Prevention Project: The Tribe joined the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indians and Klamath Indian Tribes to form the Southern Oregon Tribal Diabetes Prevention Consortium that encourages and promotes diabetes prevention through healthy lifestyle.
