What Does the CIT Legal Department Do?
Advises and represents the Tribe and Tribally-affiliated entities, regarding all legal aspects of developing and implementing Tribal ordinances and policies, economic development, intergovernmental affairs, environmental compliance, child welfare, natural resource management and other legal matters, while maintaining and strengthening the Tribal sovereignty of the Coquille Indian people.
